I have two HNAS devices for replication in DC and DR. One filesystem is replicating using oblect level replication.
How can i create replicated share?
Thank you in Advance.
When you create an object replication session, you can enable the option "Transfer Access Points During Object Replication". This option copies the share information along with the filesystem. When you activate the DR filesystem, it will have the shares available for users. You can find more information in the Hitachi guide "NAS Replication and Disaster Recovery Admin Guide".
Let us know if that answers your question!
Thank You for your reply. One more query please.
This "Transfer Access Points" option when we can create?
You can set the "Transfer Access Points" during filesystem creation, or you can set it afterwards. Go to Storage Management > File Systems and select Details for the filesystem you wish to change. You can enable Transfer Access Points by clicking Enable. On my filesystems, its currently enabled:
Be sure to click Answered if this answers your query.
This "Transfer Access Points" option should be also enabled on target FS? After creation, this is option is enabled. together with Object Replication Target.
I cant disable it.
Replication is running fine.
Question 2) There are already other DR-FS which are not confined. New ones are confined. Why ?
