On a Windows server, we have script which will stop services, take disks offline, rescan disks, pause for 30 seconds, then delete LUN paths to the volumes (raidcom). Occasionally, some of the delete LUN path commands fail claiming the host is still sending I/O.
Is there a way to force the LUN Paths to delete even if it detects I/O? These are TI snapshots which will be resync'd, I don't care about losing data.
Any other tips on how to script this so it will run reliably?
My other option is to run through all the commands twice, but I'd like it to just work the first time.
