Does anybody got this warning messages on an HNAS?
I have an hitachi storage high-end vsp, and all the disks are in good conditions, I see no alert messages on it.
Unfortunately I am currently unable to log in to the community and respond there, so I will try responding to the mail.
It looks like you asked a similar question in the storage forum back in Dec as well.
Meaning you have an ongoing question and have not opened a case for resolution?
There could be several things occurring, some of which could very well include cabling from HNAS to storage. On numerous occasions, the HDS array will respond with the B/C0/00 check condition, at which point the NAS will retry the exchange. There you would have to track down the NAS FC port that is being used for IO to the SD.
Then check to see if there are other SD’s(beyond SD 3) that are being flagged. See where the SD’s are being accessed “thru the system”.
It could be NLSAS drives misbehaving as well, basically too little info from a screen print to provide exact resolution.
That said, it’s time for you to open a case with support, supplying the NAS diagnostics and the VSP diagnostic dump so event correlation can take place as it is challenging to troubleshoot over a mail forum.
Good luck and I am sure our support can help you resolve.
thanks for the help, i will open a case with support
