In December 2020, Hitachi Vantara working closely with Cloudera, certified Lumada Data Catalog (LDC) 6.0 on Cloudera Data Platform (CDP). This certification means customers can have confidence in operating in environments where Hitachi and Cloudera both coexist. LDC accelerates data discovery and metadata tagging to secure sensitive data, infer lineage, and accelerate data self-service and insights. With this certification, customers can use Hitachi’s data fingerprinting algorithms to automatically identify sensitive data in LDC, share that information as tags with CDP Data Catalog and then apply policies in CDP to secure the data; all automatically.. This integration enables customers to manage compliance across the entire enterprise, at scale and with confidence.
