  • 1.  REST Client - Body data polluted by pentaho

    Posted 11-10-2021 15:52
    Hi,
I am attempting to use the REST Client. I am feeding the body as a field. However, when the request is made, pentaho adds data to the body. It adds the size of the body in hex, and it adds a 0 at the end of it.
How do I get rid of the data pollution done by the REST Client?
    Thanks

    Hi Olivier,
I think that you didn't provide enough context to your question.

What Pentaho endpoints will you be calling?
Where are you calling those endpoints from? Browser, Java?
What do you mean by "REST Client" exactly?
What Pentaho version are you using?

    Cheers

By looking at other similar questions, I see that you might be talking about PDI's "REST Client" step.

I don't know how to answer that, then.

    Hi
Correct, I am talking about the PDI's REST Client. I am currently using 8.2. I'll check if the bug is still present in 9.2
    Thanks

9.2 is not subject to the bug and resolved my issue.
    Thanks
