Based on my experience I have added and removed a storage from probe when I have tested and then again added back the storage to a whole new probe and the detail view collect data from the storage.
There is no such document describing your scenario particularly.

On the Detail View server, then nothing happens with the storage removed? Other than stop collecting data from said storage?

Good Morning!
If you remove the storage from Probe GUI, the storage gets removed, Analyzer Detail view stops collecting the data.
You should also remove the RAID agent instance from the old probe in order to completely remove the storage from the Probe.
And after one week, you perform the normal process of storage addition in the new probe, which will be mapped to the existing detailed view and then the storage array will start again collecting the data.
Nothing will happen on the storage end while removing it from one probe and adding it to another probe.

Another query.
In the detail view other than stop collecting data from the removed storage, does it cause anything additional? If in later weeks I want to add this storage to a new probe and integrate it to the detail view, would anything happen?

If you remove a storage from Probe GUI, it will not cause any effect on the storage end.
The effect will be on the Analyzer side that you won't be able to monitor the particular storage anymore.

If I have an Analyzer 1 with different probes and I am going to install a new Analyzer 2, can I take the probes presented in Analyzer 1 to Analyzer 2? Keeping in mind that it recognizes the network segments in case they are not in the same one.
