    Hi,

I am trying to install the Hitachi Ansible module.

Installing the module without errors was possible to change the Version number in the Manifest as 4 numbers are not allowed 1.0.0 not 1.0.0.0. Seems that nobody installed it when they did the packaging.

But my issue is to install the Gateway. Perhaps somebody can explain me why we need a gateway with a big kubernetes deployment as the storage is also capable to accept REST API?

I used the official ova and trying to run the installer like documented and get the following error:

    [ucpadmin@hitachi_apigateway installer]$ ./installer -m 10.10.152.169 -u ucpadmin -p Hitachi123!
'ascii' codec can't encode character '\u201c' in position 182: ordinal not in range(128)

Any idea what I can do? the File is a binary.

    Hello Stefan

I think you're using a very old version. Maybe try the 2.3 version?

    Documentation available here:

    https://knowledge.hitachivantara.com/Documents/Adapters_and_Drivers/Storage_Adapters_and_Drivers/Ansible

You should be able to download the latest version on support.hitachivantara.com, quick link here:
