  • 1.  Get Mail job from Gmail... using OAuth

    I have a job I want to create that will get new emails from Gmail.  For a few years now, Gmail has only allowed external access to mail via OAuth login.  Is there a way for this to work in Pentaho Data Integration?

    I have tried it using my regular account credentials, and unsurprisingly it does not work because the standard config offers no means to us OAuth.  Is there more to it that I am missing?

    Hi Rob,

    IMHO it's not possible. job entry and step do not support OAuth. You can try check Use proxy, this enables SASL authentication. But missing another parameters for settings.
