Hi Sven,
Thanks for the reply, I have 3 new hosts waiting to move the configuration to so thankfully I don't have to worry about upgrading the OS in situ.
I might need the workaround looking at our configuration

Hi Mike,
it could be a challenge.
Generally, you have two options to follow.
1) RHEL Linux update/upgrade from 7.9 to 9.3.
Needs some specific RHEL knowledge. But you can keep you OpsCenter configuration.
2) Build a new RHEL 9.3 environment, backup the existing OpsCenter Configuration and restore it to this new RHEL 9.3 environment.
There is an article that describes the steps : https://community.hitachivantara.com/blogs/karan-patani/2024/02/05/ops-center-backup-and-restore-using-protector
But this ways works only when you have a Protector Client (Proxy Node) running on a separate VM. When you have bound your Hitachi Storage Devices in OpsCenter Protector via the own Master Node (also in the role of a Proxy Node) then this way does not work. In this case there exist a workaround. To know how to use this workaround you need to open an offical Support Case, the Support Team will send you the workaround.

Subject: Ops Center move from RHEL 7.9 to RHEL 9.3
Afternoon
Has anyone successfully managed to move Ops Center and the Probes to new RHEL hosts?
If so is there anything I need to be aware of that could make the move easier?
Thanks
Mike
