    Dear all,

When copying files from Solaris servers using HCP's NFS protocol to a local disk, there is a serious performance degradation problem,
so I ask the community for help to find a solution.

    - The customer's system environment is as follows.
       1) HCP v9.3.3 : G11 4node Local(64GB cache per node, Frontend 10Gbps NIC per node)
       2) Client : Solaris 10 Server(Frontend 10Gbps NIC dual port)
       3) Network : Cisco 10Gbps Switch

    - Current issue and Symptom
       1) The HCP namespace is mounted on the Solaris server via NFS protocol.
       2) Uploading A.txt(files Size 200MB) to HCP namespace via HTTP protocol from another Server(Client A) is very fast.
       3) However, copying A.txt to a local disk using the cp command on the Solaris server(Client B) is very slow at an average rate of 1 MG/s.
       4) I checked with a Solaris expert that when sharing a file using NFS, the Solaris server reads data quickly to both clients' caches once and then stores it on a local disk.

And when data remains in the cache on the Solaris server, it is said to be very fast when saving or overriding the same file under a different name.

However, from a Solaris expert's point of view, it is strange and doesn't understand why the A.txt file reads into the cache at a slow speed of 1 MB/s, as shown above, only on Solaris servers that have NFS mounted HCP.

       5) So I also did two additional tests (① NFS mounts the HNAS 4060 volume on a Solaris server and saves the A.txt file to a local disk area/
② NFS mounts the HCP to a Linux server instead of a Solaris server and saves the A.txt file to a local disk area) and found that the two tests were faster.

I wonder if anyone has experienced performance issues while using HCP with NFS mount on a Solaris server like me.

And I wonder what you did if anyone solved the performance issue like above.

    I look forward to replying.

    Thank you.
