    Hello,

I'm working with the FDA, trying to do a Web Service call w/ Complex Types in the WSDL, but we keep getting an "Entity may not be null" error, following is from the logs:

Web services lookup 2.0 - ERROR (version 9.4.0.0-343, build 0.0 from 2022-11-08 07.50.27 by buildguy) : Unexpected error
    2023/10/24 15:21:13 - Web services lookup 2.0 - ERROR (version 9.4.0.0-343, build 0.0 from 2022-11-08 07.50.27 by buildguy) : java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Entity may not be null

Wondering if anyone can help to overcome this error, THANK YOU!

    Hi,

In these cases it is better to get the data using a well known tool like Postman, curl, etc.
Once you are sure you are using the right calls then translate it to Pentaho's right step

    Hope it helps

    Best regards

    Hi Wayne,

as @Juan Sierra Pons says. Without contract of endpoint and called request, can not help you.

I can recommend you Soap UI as Rest and WSDL client or tester.
