Hi All, I have question from customer, he would like to know the difference between ldev OPEN-V and OPEN-V CVS ! Cause we can see some ldev open-v another open-v cvs. I know that CVS is custom volume size but I would like to have more explanation about that difference. Hi, Didier!

Based on my experience I can say:

OPEN-V ldev (without CVS attribute) is created when creating Parity Groups only.
You cannot create LUSE volume from mixed volumes: OPEN-V and OPEN-V CVS.
Beginning from VSP G series LUSE is not supported and thus no difference between these volumes.
