Every day, technology is moving faster and faster and Arrow has taken it upon itself to keep ahead of the game. Our partnership with Hitachi Vantara enables us to do just that-partnering with our network of resellers to create world-class technology, services, and resources to market and sell these powerful solutions.
The Arrow Electronics and Hitachi Vantara partnership
guides innovation forward for some of the world’s leading manufacturers of technology used to improve everyday life in our businesses, homes, schools, cities, and communities.
Our resources enable us to offer leading Hitachi Vantara technology, including data storage, analytics, IoT solutions and services that drive successful business outcomes. Arrow Electronics has grown in the past year, reporting $29.68 billion in 2018, a 10.7% increase from the previous period. We credit our growth to our robust supplier relationships like the one we have with Hitachi Vantara. Arrow has a diverse set of characteristics with our Hitachi Vantara business along with a specialized, dedicated team of people on the Hitachi Vantara line with more than 75 years of combined Hitachi experience.
Arrow is also incredibly proud of our
SAM Car Project
, one of our many Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. On January 6, 2000, Sam Schmidt, an IndyCar race driver crashed his vehicle during a practice lap at the Walt Disney World Speedway in Orlando, severely injuring his spinal cord and was diagnosed as a quadriplegic. Sam agreed to partner with a team of Arrow engineers determined to make his dream come true-that Sam would be able to drive again. The SAM Car Project began in 2013 and to this day continues to break barriers for the disabled community.
We will see you in Las Vegas this October, as Arrow is looking forward to participating as a Platinum Sponsor at Hitachi’s third NEXT Conference! Arrow is also proud to have the Arrow SAM Car featured at Hitachi’s NEXT –make sure you stop by the main lobby at the MGM Grand and check it out.
This is a sponsored blog by Ross Jones, Field Sales Manager-Infrastructure Platforms-Enterprise Computing Solutions at Arrow ECS North America.
