For years Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP) has enabled our customers to deploy both Virtualized and Application specific architectures such as Oracle, SAP HANA, and other Big Data applications with ease and predictable performance. With the success of those solutions and associated architecture pieces, many customers have requested the availability of additional compute nodes for use in their own application specific deployment. Doing so while leveraging the same ease and support they have come to expect with our UCP offerings.

In comes the Hitachi Unified Platform Bare Metal offering. With capabilities that support everything you have come to know on the UCP solutions on Hitachi DS120, DS220, DS225, and DS240 servers. Support for Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform E990 with multiple operating systems (see Support Matrix link below).

You can now also leverage the deployment guidance for your Bare Metal operating system of choice on the platform (see links below). And make use of Trusted Platform Modules across all server models, in addition to support for:

Intel’s XXV-710 DA4 NIC
The latest Cisco network switch models (92348CG-X , 9332C, 93180YC-FX)
