The maintenance manual has specific instruction on how to add the NAS modules. Also, there is a procedure on TISC,MK-92HNAS075-02, that contains the bulk of the instructions (plus some extra info for a separate process).

One of the main things is that you must be using the MPC software (not the SVP image) whilst on the maintenance network.

You would be well served to contact the local Hitachi Vantara contacts for more detailed assistance.

So should I mandatory use MPC laptop?  Is there any option to update firmware for NAS support from  SVP?

Were you able to find the info in the referenced info in the MM and did you also find the doc on TISC?

you cannot install the NAS modules w/o using MPC software connected to the maintenance ports as a specific procedure and file are required that only the MPC can use.

Installing the NAS modules was not a customer use case - it was meant to be done by GSS, a CE or an ASP. I believe the ref doc I mentioned is available to ASP's.

From MPC I see menu to add NAS module.
