G400 -> G600 is non-disruptive. You just install and enable the license key to get the additional performance potential and expanded system limits.

You definitely don't need professional services. If you mean the Support Center, you should only call them if you run into a problem. If you mean Customer Service and Support, yes, they can load licenses, but many customers can do this themselves.
