QNET Enhances their E-Commerce Platform with Hitachi Storage

Blog Post created by Elizabeth Hoo Employee on Aug 9, 2018

QNET is one of Asia’s leading direct sales companies, selling a wide variety of health and lifestyle products. The company serves a worldwide customer base, catering to over 100 different countries. In the early 2000’s the company rolled out a powerful e-commerce platform.

As the company was expanding and growing, the demand on their eStore was increasing. To meet the needs of their platform, the company needed to consolidate all their data onto one fast and efficient storage system. QNET implemented Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform G series and later a VSP F Series all-flash storage platform for their data.

The partnership between Hitachi and QNET has improved the performance of the eStore consequently enhancing the customer’s experience. The storage has decreased QNET’s IT footprint by 50%, while enabling the company to slash operating overhead costs.
