  • 1.  Force Delete LUN Path

    Hi,

    Recently, I had an issue with a LUN used as a datastore. VMware had already detached and deleted it from the cluster, but I could not delete the LUN path from Storage Navigator. I received a solution from an open case with Hitachi support, but the history was lost. Now I am facing the same issue and need to force delete the LUN path. Please let me know how to perform a force delete of the LUN path.

    Hello,

    What steps did you take to attempt to delete the LUN path within Storage Navigator?

    What was the Storage Navigator error?

    Is the LUN used by other hosts? (Sometimes it is easier to block a LUN for maintenance).

    I am thinking the below is most likely what you were sent in the past, let us know if this solves your issue:
