Hitachi Ops Center​

Team, we need to know the historical response times of the Storage Array. This info is not seeming to be available in Storage Advisor Embedded with E-1090H. How can we get this from OPs Center Analyzer. Is there a procedure to do that or does a document exists to get that information.  Please advise. Many thanks. Best

There are a couple of options. In Analyzer you can go back 2 weeks.

However in Analyzer Detailed View you can theoretically go back as far as you've been collecting the details. There are tunables in Detailed View that start aggregating data that's version specific to ops center. 

The workload report in Analyzer Detailed view is also a great tool to see latency and performance for the entire array. 

There is also a troubleshooting tool, Export Tool 2 for E Series that allows you typically to pull performance data on an array, going back 24 hours typically.

Hello William.  Thanks for the details provided. It was very helpful.  Also, does this GUI also has some 'Assessment Tool' or component which can be used to do a detailed assessment of the entire Storage Array.  Or, we have to use the combination of the various options (workload report, troubleshooting tool, Export tool, Inventory Report etc) you already mentioned above.  Best

There are Discovery services in Hitachi that  can help you with assessments. I'll try and find some data for you around it. 

For quick 'assessment' I would use the Health Check report mentioned above.
