By the way, a few months ago, our customer asked us to upgrade their Hitachi VSP E790, and it went well. Now the same customer wants to upgrade their Hitachi VSP 5000 Series as well. However, we are encountering some difficulties because there are differences in the upgrade procedures between the Hitachi VSP E790 / Hitachi VSP E1090 and the Hitachi VSP 5000 Series that we do not fully understand yet.

Hello Hadi,
Microcode upgrades are not done by customers. The upgrades are done by Hitachi or an Authorized Service Partner. Depending on your service contract, they may be done remotely by Remote Ops, or by a CE.
