    Hi Team,

    Need some guidance in upgrading OPS center from current version 10.9.3 to 11.0.3/4.

    Current OS = Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.9 (Maipo)

    Components = Administrator,Protector,Analyzer

    1. Can we directly upgrade the OPS center to 11.0.3/4 from 10.9.3?
    2. Do we need a new VM with supported OS or we can use the existing VM for upgrade.
    3. We have probe servers installed in different locations, do we need to upgrade them along with OPS center? If we have to upgrade , do we need new VM for Probes?
    4. Can we directly upgrade the OPS center with new OVA file using the existing VM?

    Hi Nandakishor,

    There are different ways of upgrading your existing Ops Center VM, best option will always depend upon your environment, so I would request you to go through the attached guide, which has a dedicated section for Ops Center upgrade which will address all your question. Thanks.

    Hello Prasenjit,

    Can we take the backups from 10.9.3 and use them to restore in 11.0.4?

    Hi Nandakishor,

    As your environment is a production one hence if anything goes wrong then production will be impacted, thus most holistic approach for your scenario is please get your existing environment inspected by the support and then follow their recommendations, because I don't know your environment thus it would not be a good practice to provide you with any suggestion.Thanks
