    Hello

What I do is open up the developer tools on my browser, dump the rest call into a script and then pass it a list of all the ldev's I want to unprotect.

Here is a 'sample' video on how to do it using powershell, using lun creation as a sample, but you can do the same using method:

Alternatively if they are all in protector you can easily mass select them in protector and break the replication and delete the secondary volume[Button next to the high-lighted volume]. After that you can clean up the primary volume in administrator if need be. Screenshot below:

     after hiting (X)

this will delete all the secondary vols for  that particular secondary site

    Hello

Yes the X breaks down the replication and bin deletes the secondary side volume.

    I DID DEACTIVATE DATA FLOW
    THEN TEAR DOWN
BUT I WANTED TO RESUME SO I HIT THE PLAY BUTTON BUT I SEE
ANOTHER STATIC COPY how to get rid of those copies nothing in there

for resuming i also did IMPORT HA PAIR THEN ENABLE DATA FLOW

Yes you need to deactivate the dataflow.

For the remaining static copies. Just deactivate the data flow. Delete the static copies and the enable the data flow again.

Deactivating a data flow just means protector is no longer monitoring it. It still keeps volumes in pairs.

Ok so simply hit in delete icon after disable df
but  back to my previous question is it
mandatory to remove pairing to delete vols or we can delete mass vols without breaking pair of we want  to keep pair but delete vols ?

I'm not sure I understand the question. Some observations that might answer your question:

    • You can not delete a volume that has an replication relationship. You need to 'tear down' the relationship first
    • Once the volume is a Static Volume you can delete the secondary volume from protector.
    • You can mass delete volume or mass tear down volumes. But be mindful that you might have to ensure that the appropriate steps are followed, for instance that the dataflow is deactivated before you can do so.
    • After your cleanup you can activate the dataflow again if you like to ensure that Protector is monitoring the pair again, and that you can operate the pair within protector.  Or if you dont need it you can delete the dataflow.
