  • 1.  Setting up Ops Center at DR site – looking for best-practice docs / experiences

    Hi everyone,  
     
    I hope you're all doing well.  
     
    We currently have Hitachi Ops Center (version 10.x) running successfully at our primary site, managing a pair of VSP E1090 arrays with bidirectional replication (TrueCopy / GAD).  
    We now want to deploy a second Ops Center instance at our DR site so we have fully independent management and faster recovery in case of a site failure.  
     
    Before I start the installation at DR site, I wanted to check with the community:  
    1. Is there an official Hitachi document or best-practice guide for dual-site Ops Center deployment or Ops Center high availability across sites? specially the Protector.
    2. Has anyone here already implemented Ops Center in both primary and DR sites? Any lessons learned or gotchas (licensing, discovery, Protector/Automator workflows, Analyzer cross-site dashboards, etc.)?  
    3. Any recommendation on whether to federate both instances or keep them completely separate until failover?
     
    I would really appreciate any links to documentation, knowledge articles, or your own experiences.
