Hi Colleges,

we got a request from our management, to connect all our HCP S-Node Series 8S11,S31, S32) to our Windows AD User Management and Authorization platform.

I can't find any stuff for this item in the HCP S-Nodes Documentation.

So question is, has anyoneof you  done such an operation, and give us any kind of information about this.

Many thanks in advance, and best regards

Hi Ralf,

This isn't possible. S Series (now known as VSP One Object S Series node) are essentially a simple S3 bucket, configurable to connect with supported products such as HCP, HCP for Cloud Scale, VPS One Object.

AD / user management would run through the aforementioned platforms, where the VSP One Object S Series node support local authentication only. They don't possess the native capability to join a Windows Domain or authenticate against AD.
