Issue:
We are attempting to configure Ops Center Probe to communicate with the VSP F5200 using the Command Device (in-band communication). The configuration/discovery is failing.
Questions:
- Is it supported to present a Command Device from meta_resource to a host group that belongs to a Virtual Storage resource group?
- Does the Command Device need to reside in the same resource group as the ESXi host group and Probe server?
- Are there any specific Host Mode Options (for example HMO 76) required for Command Device access by Ops Center Probe?
- Has anyone successfully configured Ops Center Probe in a similar environment where the Probe server is a VM and the Command Device resides in meta_resource?
Any guidance, best practices, or documentation references would be appreciated.
