I have a Customer interested in seeing its Hitachi storage arrays (VSP G370, G700, G200,...) in their ServiceNow® Configuration Management Database (CMDB) application, so they can have a logical representations of our assets.

Is there any template already developed or is it something that can be done without a template?

Hello

 

There are 2 ways I know of.

  1. You should be able to use the Rest End point in Analyzer to find out any connected components to an end-point.
  2. You can the built in SMI connector in HDvM(Hitachi Device Manager). ServiceNow supports discovering it using SMI-S natively as far is I remember.
