Luu - You can perform a physical reset of the GUMs. At the back of each controller, there is a recessed button labeled LAN-RST. Use a paper clip to press it for a few seconds to reset the GUM.

Dang , thank you for replying to me.
This storage system has only 1 failed harddrive , other than that , there is nothing wrong .
I am still unable to login to the CTLs of this G700 system through Storage Advisor Embedded , so no Maintenance Utility this way . And when i try to access Maintenance Utility through SVP , i got this response instead.
Do you think there is another way for me to reboot GUM ?

Luu - Is the storage system 100% healthy in the Maintenance Utility (https://ip-of-ctl1-or-ctl2/MaintenanceUtility/)? You can try rebooting the GUMs while in the Maintenance Utility. Do one at a time and wait for 15 minutes or so between each one.

I have a VSP G700 storage system , and i have encountered a problem that i don't know how to solve.
Before i made changes to the SNMP Community String in the Maintenance Utility , i was still able to login and query data from the CTL (Storage Advisor Embedded) and SVP. But after i changed the SNMP String , it has started blocking me from log in or query data .
At first, i was still able to login (sometimes) , but it gave me some weird error codes (like 30662-201020) .
Then when i changed the SNMP String back to what it was before , it gave me other error codes (32561-207001 , 31462-203208 , 30762-204760 , 34062-203502 , 31462-203206) . I didn't know it at the time , but CTL2 of this Storage System was disconnected from the network.
I managed to restore CTL2's network Access , but now , i can't even login to Storage Advisor on the CTLs, or query JSON data from Configuration Manager (on both CTLs).
I was still able to login to SVP of this Storage System , but it was unable to change anything on the CTLs.
Can someone please tell me what step should i take next ? And no , i can't raise a case to Hitachi Vantara , because this system is out of warranty.
