  • 1.  Data port not coming Up on HITACHI VANTARA VSP G350

    We are using Hitachi Vantara VSP G350 in our environment. The data port is not coming up.

    Troubleshooting performed:
    - Checked physical connectivity and cables
    - Replaced SFP modules
    - Configured LACP on Cisco 9300 switch

    However, the port remains down.

    Hello Vikrant,
    Two things:

    1. Have you checked the FEC settings?
    This KB details how FEC needs to be set for the Cisco ports to link up.

    2. Are you using Hitachi Supplied SFP's?  3rd party SFP's wont work.

    Hello

    What do you mean it doesnt come up(where do you see it)? Can you ping the port, are the lights linking? 

    Also check you have port Security enabled if you are trying to present LUNs or volumes over the port?
