  • 1.  Rule of thumb guidance JVM max memory Pentaho 8.3 vs 9.3

    We recently migrated from Pentaho 8.3 - Java 8 - CentOS to Pentaho 9.3 - Java 11 - Ubuntu. Under 8.3 we were using 16 GB for the JVM. Is there a rule of thumb for keeping the memory the same or increasing it by some factor (1.25, 1.5, 2.0)?

    Hi Bob,

    check this page about components reference. IMHO 16 GB is enough even for v9.3. :-)
