  • 1.  Using Pentaho for integration with Sharepoint

Does anyone have experience with Pentaho integration with Sharepoint? If so, what are the steps required? (on Sharepoint side / on Pentaho side) I looked online but there isn't much on this I could find.

We're involved in a project where files from Alfresco will already be migrated to Sharepoint, in same folder structure as they were in Alfresco.

Then we'd like Pentaho to get info on these Sharepoint files, get the link to them, and post that link to CRM (with API).

Since we will likely have to be involved in many projects such as these once many divisions have similar exercise, we're aiming for the most reusable / streamlined way of building this interface.

    Thanks,

    Nathalie

    Hi Nathalie! How are you?

Did you find any solution or work around to deal with?

    Best, Jimmy

    Hi both,

If you are still interested, perhaps the DriveItem Endpoint from the Microsoft Graph service would help you. The download link is in the webUrl property of the Get Item response.

    Documentation is here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/driveitem-get?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http.

In Pentaho you can send the Get Item request for example with the REST client step.

Microsoft Graph is enabled through configurations in the Azure Portal. You need to set up an application under 'App registrations'.

If you are looking for an End-to-End example, you can have a look at a project I have recently written for our uses cases - https://github.com/lukas8920/pentaho-ms365-plugin.

Feel free to check whether this helps.

    Regards
    Lukas
