 Clear cache time too long during PDI job execution

Hi,

When I use pan.sh to execute a PDI job on my Linux server, the line

INFO [KarafBoot] Checking to see if org.pentaho.clean.karaf.cache is enabled

remains displayed for almost 10 minutes. Then, the job launches without any problems.
I tried to remove some unused plugins, or files in lib folder, but it didn't help. Also, I tried to change PENTAHO_DI_JAVA_OPTIONS parameters in spoon.sh file but it did nothing.
I use PDI Community Edition 9.2.

Does anyone have an idea to resolve this issue ?

Hi,

After deleting the cache folder, the issue seems to be fixed.

The same thing happened to me too. I have deleted the cache in data-integration/system/karaf/caches/ and it works faster now

If you are not using Hadoop / Big Data, I would recommend switching to PDI 9.4 CE. Without the Hadoop Add-on, Karaf is not utilized and you will encounter a performance boost.
