What is new in Hitachi Infrastructure Management and Automation (Q3 CY2020)?

Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP) Advisor continues to build on the strategy of unified Infrastructure Management and Automation Software Platform. Today we are releasing (GA) of UCP Advisor 3.9. Here is the key highlights for VM Admins, App Infrastructure Admins, and Infrastructure Admins:
  1. Gain infrastructure visibility for specialized workload (such as VDI, Big Data, AI/ML) based on nVidia T4 GPUs
  2. Expand Data Management Infrastructure with Native Global Active Device PAIR Replication configuration
  3. Optimize storage resources and cost with native configuration of Adaptive Data Reduction (ADR) and Encryption on select VSPs
  4. Simplify operations and improve time to production of the Infrastructure with new Day-0 Automation enhancements:
    1. NTP options for Edge and Core data centers
    2. Enhanced Networking options to facilitate data migration between multi-sites and multi-cloud environment based on VMware vMotion
    3. Improved Auto-discovery with atomic node refresh
  5. Adhering to ever growing Enterprise Security and Compliance needs with Digitally Signed Management Software
  6. Enhanced Life Cycle Management and Resource Management across Compute, Network, Storage and Virtualization ecosystem stack (including VMware vCenter, VMware vSAN, VMware vRealize etc.)
