 Align P-Vol & S-VOL ID at a Remote Replication Setup in Ops Center Administrator

Hi,

 

At the moment I play around with the Hitachi Ops Center Administrator. I have some VSP-G 700 and 350 in my Lab and I would like to align the P-VOL ID and the S-VOL ID when I create a GAD Volume (HA Remote Replicated Volume).

 

At the moment I can't find a way to do this within OPS Center Administrator.

Is there a way to do something like that?

Okay,

 

Our awesome Storage Team used the combine power of multiple clustered human brains, and we got the issue.

 

It is important that the Ldev-ID is available in meta_resource (0) on the storage side where the S-VOL will be created. Then the ID's are the same on both sides.

 Because HDID takes a LDEV from the meta_resource (0) VSM .
