  • 1.  Spoon: Browser is not supported.

    Every time I start Spoon 8.2,  a box appears that states:

    Name: browser-not-supported.PNG Views: 1756 Size: 15.5 KB
    my computer is win7 64, chrome is default browser.
    Anyone solved this?

    Hi Chris.
    On the internals pentaho 8.2 is calling mshtml.dll which wraps Internet Explorer.  The pentaho wiki has been moved onto Confluence and per this post https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/I-m-getting-browser-not-supported-but-it-is-not-allowing-me-to/qaq-p/1511374  they refuse to support IE at all.   I'm fairly sure that in later versions they're directing the help requests to hitachivantara.com and it works OK.
