    Hi,

    is there any option Pentaho Server works as REST API host?
    I know, and use, Carte but maybe Pentaho Server can be used in this role in some way?

    I think you might want to check out the Call Endpoint step in the Pentaho Server folder when creating a transformation.  You can also use the REST Client step to interact with the Pentaho Server as well:  http://${DI_SERVER.HOST}:${DI_SERVER.PORT}/pentaho/api

    What to do on server to make it offers REST? How to publish there some transformation that is rest source?
    Are u sure Pentaho Server can be Web Service?
