Hi,

I have tried to download maven license plugin for Pentaho from url : https://nexus.pentaho.org/content/groups/omni/org/pentaho/maven/plugins/license-helper-maven-plugin/1.26/license-helper-maven-plugin-1.26.jar

but the page is not available and got error "503 Service Unavailable".

From this community discussion, someone mentioned like maven license plugin is moved to new url : https://repo.orl.eng.hitachivantara.com/ui/native/pnt-mvn/org/pentaho/maven/plugins/license-helper-maven-plugin/1.26/

but page is not loading with error message "Something went wrong" and seems like the page license is expired.

I need help to resolve this asap. Any help would be appreciated.

Nexus repository manger was shutdown. Official repo site is https://repo.orl.eng.hitachivantara.com/. And as you said, license expired. I don't known if it's a bug or intentional. You are not first with this problem.

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to build a kar file for Pentaho server okta authentication, as per the document based on the Github path pentaho-engineering-samples/Samples_for_Extending_Pentaho/Reference Implementations/Security/SAML 2.0/documentation/SAML2 Pentaho BA Server Best Practices.pdf at master · pentaho/pentaho-engineering-samples · GitHub . 

The official repo site https://repo.orl.eng.hitachivantara.com/ has some issues, i was not able to build the kar file because of the above-mentioned license-helper-maven-plugin issue , it would be more helpful if you provide us a kar file or is there any way to build a kar file without any issue.

Hi Preveen,

if you don't have required artifacts from remote repository, it's not possible. But I build SAML sample from Github repository. Artifacts find as attachment.

After getting the kar file from you, we have followed the remaining steps for implementing OKTA in pentaho server from the link ( https://github.com/pentaho/pentaho-engineering-samples/blob/9.4/Samples_for_Extending_Pentaho/Reference%20Implementations/Security/SAML%202.0/documentation/Activating_SAML_sample_in_BA_server.pdf )

After completing all the steps, when we try to start the server now getting an exception "BeanCreationException error from the file applicationContext-spring-security-saml.xml" . I have attached the exception server logs as well as the applicationContext saml file which we got from the github. 

applicationContext saml file github path : Samples_for_Extending_Pentaho/Reference Implementations/Security/SAML 2.0/documentation/resources/applicationContext-spring-security-saml.xml

Kindly find the details and it would be very helpful if we can get any help or solution.
