Thanks Prasenjit for your respnds.
In my case I've installed each product separatly.
So I was asked which Port I want to use for Protector.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please enter the HTTPS port for the application user interface
User Interface Port [443]:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The default is set to 443, I'm free to use any Port. There is also no hint to use 20964, in the install routine.
But anyway, the error message I got does not help me to understand that just the TCP Port is the problem.
I sounds like a logical configuration inside the Protector is wrong.
A error message like "On TCP Port 443 no Protector Service is running. May be on Port 443 runs the Common Service Portal Service ?"would be clear and save time to troubleshoot.------------------------------

Hi Sven,
The default port used by the protector is 443, but during installation, you can change it to 20964; in this case during installation, you might not have entered this port. Thus it tried to use port 443 but as another application was already using that 443 thus protector was unable to use port 443 and went into an invalid state. So during installation, it is always recommended to use port 20964.

Thank you very much - William
We found the reason.
I just used the default TCP Port 443.
But the Protector runs on another Port.
But the error messages lead me into a total wrong direction.
Messages like "On TCP Port 443 no Protector Service is running. May be on Port 443 runs the Common Service Portal Service ?"
would be clear and save time to troubleshoot.

Hello Sven
Protector is often a little out of sync with the rest of the packaged Ops Center Products. The Product managers are working to solve this.
I would try the following:
- I would download the latest version of protector and upgrade the ops center ova packaged version with this. IF it still doesn't work.
- Take a look in the protector 'logs'. If this still doesn't work generate a log bundle on VAM interface on Administrator and take a look in the rainer.log to see what administrator's complaining about.
- Might be good to try your protector details that you specified here. Directly on the protector login interface usually: "https://opsvm:20964/". To make sure it's working.

We have new installed Administrator and Protector (newest version 10.9)
And now we want to link the Administrator to the Protector. (So that the Administrator can communicate with the Protector)
On the Protector we have applied the License keys and created already 2 Hitachi Block Storage Devices.
The Protector seems to be ready.
But we got the error message: "OpsCenter Protector is in an invalid state (Session_ID is not found in the header)"
We used as Account Information : root@Master and sysadmin@opscenter
See the attached screenshot.
Any hints ?
