  • 1.  Pentaho version compatibility with mysql connector

    Hi,

            I am using pentaho verison 8.0 and in this the mysql connector version is 5.1.46. I need to upgrade the connector to 8.x version. Is it compatible with pentaho 8.0?

    Hi Anil,

    IMHO it's not problem. Drivers uses JDBC API, so you can replace jar in lib directory by your preferred version. JDBC API is provided by JRE not PDI.

    I using newer version of PostgreSQL, FirebirdSQL or MariaDB driver.

    Of course check if newer version works with your use-cases.
