    Hi All,

I tried to follow the guidelines on how to manage license from the documentation website below.

    Manage Pentaho licenses
Hitachi Vantara Lumada and Pentaho Documentation remove preview
    Manage Pentaho licenses
Manage licenses using PUC Manage licenses using the PDI client Manage licenses using the command line interface Setting the license path environment variable Set the license path variable on Linux Set the license path environment variable on Windows Install or update license files from the command line List or remove license files from the command line You can manage the licenses from the Pentaho User Console (PUC), Pentaho Data Integration (PDI client), or the command line interface.

Unfortunately it doesnt work on multiple users accessing the PDI. When User1 activate the license, User2 needs to do the same. The activation created an xml file on user's profile directory called .pentaho. Is there a way to have it activated just once? setting up the environment variable ENTAHO_INSTALLED_LICENSE_PATH didnt help.

    Hello Lee,

This is the objective of PENTAHO_INSTALLED_LICENSE_PATH (make sure you didn't miss the starting "P" in the name). When PDI starts, if this variable is defined, Pentaho will use the existent license file. Make sure to point it to the configured .installedLicenses.xml file and the user has access to this path.

Another approach is to point all the users to use the same HOME FOLDER at Java level. -Duser.home=<PATH>.
