 Ops Center - managing multiple network domains.

What is the impact of having multiple network domains. Do you require multiple instances of Ops Center/Ops Center probes? Or can ports be opened to one instance. Especially round Windows Probe installation.

Prerequisites for Windows Probe

  • The probe machine and the target machines must be part of either the same workgroup or the same domain.

You can have multiple Analyzer Probe servers deployed. All feeding to a central Analyzer Detail View.

Your Windows probe would be feeding to a Probe server on the same network segment. The Probe Server will then push those metrics to the Central Analyzer Detail View server. Open the ports between the Probe Server and the Detail View server as needed per below document.
