I am trying to convert a string value to Date. We took
the Date  in this format: yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss:

I am using the Pentaho Data Integration 9.3

In pentaho the is time 08:09 but in our Org it is showing 01:09 am. The time gap is 7hours ....it is showing the error.......Please Does any one know this error? We tried in different formats but there is no result.

I think your problem may be associated with how you are dealing with Salesforce.com datetime fields. Salesforce stores all datetimes as GMT in the database and each user has their own time zone it is converted to when viewing data in the browser by that user. If you are pulling that last_update_date from Salesforce then you need to also include the time zone in the output formatting and then you will be able to convert from there to whatever time zone you want by adding or subtracting hours. It actually just looks like it is in GMT and you need to subtract 7 hours to convert to PDT (it is currently daylight savings time which is another factor you will have to consider when converting the time). It will be 8 hours for PST.
