Ok, the error has been found and it was inside the python script aha.

Hello Johan,  Thanks for the answer, indeed it was a java issue and Pentaho was not able to locate java, now I can use Cpython script plugin!  Although I have an issue because Pentaho doesnt find my python(anaconda) setup so hes saying that pandas libraries and stuff are not there...

Hello Johan,  Thanks for the answer. I was about to try it when restarting my virtual machine...spoon.sh is not launching anymore... The terminal is even not displaying any message, just nothing happen when I run spoon.sh. Is it just my virtual machine messing around?  Thanks and sorry Im a beginner ...

Hello M Lentink,  Thanks for your answer, Im pretty sure it has something to do with this python location but I just have one version of Python on my laptop.  How do I map the python location with pentaho, how does pentaho know where to get python packages ?  Thanks in advance,  Victorien

Hello Stefano,  Thank you for your answer. I tried to run the installation again but Im on linux mint so no check box saying add anaconda to my path environment variable but I did conda config --set auto_activate_base True. I don;t know if its the same thing as you describe ? Doing that it didnt work ...
