We had a similar issue, problem was that the zip downloaded from marketplace was corrupt. There was an error in the pentaho.log file with the wrong url. Dont remember the details but the error was easy to spot. so from the new url we manually downloaded and unpacked into the pentaho-solution/system/saiku ...

mmm I have the same errors in catalina.out (I wasnt aware of those actually :-D ) and the ca.json produces a 404. But when I click on folders in the save as dialog I do not see any error in the javascript console. I just see an http request (see the pictures). Do you have that one? Anyway, I dont know ...
