David is based in Austin, Texas and is passionate about providing the best possible experience for customers. His background includes numerous marketing and operations roles as well as extensive program management. He has over 20 years of customer and communication management experience including Customer Advocacy, Voice of the Customer, Executive Briefing Center, Customer Success, Customer Community and Chief of Staff roles. David has worked with both hardware and software companies including Hitachi Vantara, Applied Materials and National Instruments. Prior to this, he was an officer in the U.S. Navy, involved in aviation, engineering and damage control.
He was born in Madrid, Spain, and spent most of his life moving around with a military family and settling occasionally in places such as Texas, Nebraska, California and Hawaii. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Electrical Engineering. David and his wife Jill have two children; a daughter in college and a son in high school. The entire family is involved with the nonprofit community and he’s excited about Hitachi’s double bottom line. He enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as watching movies and listening to music.
