Petr, Thank you.  In digging into the log more, we realized that the pentaho-solutions/system/jackrabbit/repository.xml file had an error in it.

Petr, I did forget to include that information.  We are using PostgreSQL as our repository server. Attached is the relevant section of the log.  I am not a Java guru or have even looked at Pentaho's code, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

We tried upgrading our Linux Pentaho CE server from v9.2 to v9.4 from a clean install of v9.4.  The server came up cleanly, we are able to log in and browse files. But when we try to run a transform in background on the server or load a transform into PDI via this server, we get this error: - Unable ...
