We recently upgraded to HTnM 6.1 and I am in the process of migrating our servers in to the new environment.
I am having major issues with the agent refresh though.
It seems that if it comes across one error the refresh stops.
If I look in the htmErrorDetail log i see the following:
7680 2009/06/20 11:35:03.753 HTnM 01E04CBF 019E8BE2 KATN14864-E ER com.Hitachi.soft.HiCommand.TM.mc.core.agent.ReportHandler#checkErrorCode An unexpected error occurred during communication with an Agent. (Agent = EA1syms499054, maintenance information = -2)
7704 2009/06/20 11:35:03.761 HTnM 01E04CBF 01F21412 KATN14864-E ER com.Hitachi.soft.HiCommand.TM.mc.core.pollingconfig.Synchronizer#getPfmTargetIdentityMap An unexpected error occurred during communication with an Agent. (Agent = EA1syms499054, maintenance information = -2)
And then it seems that Tuning Manager gives up and does not refresh any new agents.
Is there anyway to configure some tolerance in the refresh? For example allow 5 errors before failing?
Any help would be most appreciated.
