I would like to create and manage own groups in the Community. Who can help please? I do not seem to have the rights to do so....

The HDS Community currently doesn't provide group creation self service.
Currently, the HDS Community Governance Board reviews new community requests on a monthly basis.
In the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact HDSCommunity@hds.com with any further inquires.

That makes it a kind of closed community, doesn't it, if members can't create a place for their own interests? HDS can still set the specs for acceptable groups and delete or merge new groups as needed.
The invitation to 'create your own' should be removed if it's not really being offered -
- from dashboard select "Get started" on left side
- select 'Join a group' from Get started window
- pop up box states "Find a group that interests you, or create your own'
- 'create your own' is a hyperlink when selected brings you to a window saying you can't
What HDS is doing by requesting that you email them with your 'group' request at this stage of community maturity is positive. They want to ensure that groups will have purpose, vibrancy and moderation. So please, do consider emailing your proposed group, discussion needs and offers to evolve that conversation. This allows the enterprise community manager to facilitate further conversation around member needs.
