Hi to all,

I've got a problem configuring performance monitoring using Export Tool (horcm, raidcom) for HUS/VM storage using command device. Horcm configured for using IP works fine. I have 2 /etc/horcm1.conf and horcm2.conf files for HUS/VM and VSP systems (both use IP):

# HUS/VM

HORCM_MON

# ip_address service poll(10ms) timeout(10ms)

localhost    11001   1000       3000

HORCM_CMD

# dev_name dev_name dev_name

\\.\IPCMD-192.168.66.38-31001

# VSP

HORCM_MON

# ip_address service poll(10ms) timeout(10ms)

localhost    11002   1000       3000

HORCM_CMD

# dev_name dev_name dev_name

\\.\IPCMD-192.168.251.51-31001 \\.\IPCMD-192.168.251.52-31001

I'd like to switch HUS/VM to command device. One is configured from storage:

[stor2rrd@stor2rrd-m1 stor2rrd]$ ls /dev/sd* | /HORCM/usr/bin/inqraid -CLI -fx

DEVICE_FILE     PORT    SERIAL  LDEV CTG  H/M/12  SSID R:Group PRODUCT_ID

sda             -            -     -   -       -     -       - Virtual disk

sdb             -            -     -   -       -     -       - Virtual disk

sdc             -            -     -   -       -     -       - Virtual disk

sdd             -            -     -   -       -     -       - Virtual disk

sde             CL1-B   211401    32   -  s/s/ss  0004 A:00000 OPEN-V

But HORCM fails to start without any log messages:

[stor2rrd@stor2rrd-m1 stor2rrd]$ /HORCM/usr/bin/horcmstart.sh 1

/bin/rm: cannot remove ‘/HORCM/log1/tmplog’: Permission denied

/bin/mv: cannot move ‘/HORCM/log1/curlog’ to ‘/HORCM/log1/tmplog/curlog’: Permission denied

starting HORCM inst 1

HORCM inst 1 has failed to start.

Any ideas where proceed with further checking?

Regards,

Kirill.
