DataSource access by Tentant

I'm facing a challenge where a Pentaho instance will be used by many different clients.

I need somehow implement some restrictions on the datasources by tenant or user or group.

Solutions as Mondrian ACL and/or DSP are not a solution for this case, because the clients are responsible for their own development, then I need to avoid them using (or seeing) configured Datasources that don't belong to them.

Something like applying ACLs on the connections under the 'Manager Datasources'.

Does anyone has some idea and how that could be done ?

Best Regards.
