The machine has the latest Solaris patches and ZFS is used. The other thing to be mentioned can be that there are ldoms on the server but I dont think this can cause a problem.
Anyway, we installed HDLM version 6.1 to this machine and everything seemed perfectly working. Then we ran some tests on the luns and found out that there is a severe performance problem. It took nearly 47 minutes just to create a 5g file!!! Then just for testing we made one of the paths offline and after that things went back to normal. At the end of the day, customer is working with just one path (we left the other one offline) and this is really a critical thing for them... It seems like HDLM has an issue with the paths similar to MPXIO...
btw, We have to use the latest version of HDLM because ZFS is only supported in the last 2 versions.. the storage connected to the host is 9585...
do you have Any ideas?
thanks in advance
